The Lana Learn team is providing SAT professional development trainings to public schools in Washington, DC.
Lana Learn recently started a SAT professional development program with DC Public Schools (DCPS). This program provides high school teachers with the opportunity to enhance their SAT test preparation knowledge and skills. Experienced Lana Learn staff members held school site visits to observe teacher instruction. Then, they are able to meet with teachers to provide feedback on their teaching methods.
During the school site visits, teachers receive guidance on how to effectively incorporate SAT test-taking strategies into their curriculum. In addition, they learn how to create a supportive learning environment to help students succeed on their SAT exams. The Lana Learn team introduced teachers to the latest SAT test formats and scoring methods, and they receive materials and resources they can use to improve their instruction. Through this program, Lana Learn equips high school teachers with knowledge and tools they need to help their students excel on their SAT exams. They can better prepare their students for success in college and beyond.
