The Lana Learn team is providing SAT professional development trainings to Thurgood Marshall Academy in Washington, DC.
Lana Learn held a SAT professional development training at Thurgood Marshall Academy earlier this month. Seven English, math, and science teachers joined the virtual course as a follow-up to the in-person training they attended in February. The session provided teachers with the knowledge and tools they need to better prepare their students for the SAT exam and the college admission process. It also gave them the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback based on the previous curriculum implementation training they had received.
Throughout the training, participants gained a deeper understanding of the SAT exam structure and content, as well as strategies for teaching and preparing their students for the exam. Teachers also had the opportunity to collaborate and share best practices with each other and received resources and tools to use in their classrooms. Overall, the session was successful in achieving its objective and will have a positive impact on the students’ future success.
