As November unfolds, it’s a time for gratitude and reflection at Lana Learn. This month, we’ve seen remarkable advancements in our educational endeavors. We are celebrating educational progress both locally in Washington, DC and internationally in Vietnam.
Dynamic Education Initiatives in Washington, DC
In the heart of Washington DC, our education programs are thriving. Our High-Impact Tutoring (HIT) program in local high schools provides tailored support to students who need it most. Alongside this, our 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative has enabled us to offer enriching after-school programs, fostering a vibrant learning community outside the conventional classroom setting.
English Language Triumphs in Vietnam
Our global reach extended to Vietnam, where we recently graduated our second English Language Training (ELT) class. The results were outstanding, with students achieving impressively high scores. This success paves the way for our dedicated Vietnamese military officer students to continue their educational journey in the United States. We eagerly anticipate celebrating their accomplishments and supporting them in their next steps.
Building Partnerships and Bridging Cultures
November also presented opportunities for deeper engagement with our international partners. We had the privilege of visiting the American Center in Hanoi, Vietnam. These spaces serve as hubs of learning and interaction, connecting local audiences with the United States through both physical and virtual platforms. Positioned in over 140 countries, these centers — found in diverse locations like universities, shopping malls, and public areas — play a pivotal role in fostering cross-cultural dialogues and learning experiences.
