Lana joins the DC Out-of-School Time Coalition to expand afterschool programs that promote youth development.
We are excited to announce that Lana has joined the DC Out-of-School Time (OST) Coalition. Our team has a robust portfolio of services and a team of passionate professionals. Therefore, we are ready to make a significant impact in the realm of youth development within DC. Our recent engagement with the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) highlights our capability to manage, implement, and evaluate impactful afterschool programs for high school students. Under our guidance, the program successfully served 100 students in grades 9-12, providing essential academic and personal development support.
Lana Learn has built a reputation for excellence. Our expertise spans various roles and responsibilities. They include academic coaching and youth development initiatives, all aimed at fostering educational opportunities for youth in DC and the surrounding areas.
By joining the DC OST Coalition, we will expand our community impact by collaborating with like-minded professionals and organizations. Together, we are dedicated to enhancing out-of-school time opportunities for all youth in Washington, D.C. We are eager to contribute to the Coalition’s mission of fostering high-quality OST programs! This past week, we attended our first Coalition meeting and signed a letter underscoring the importance of DC Public Schools (DCPS) continuing to absorb the security costs for DCPS site-based after school partners!
Our commitment to education and youth development aligns perfectly with the DC OST Coalition’s goals. We will drive positive change and create new opportunities for the youth of our city. We look forward to contributing to a brighter future for the young minds in our community.
