The Lana Learn team ends the 2022 year with gratitude for all we were able to accomplish and the support we have received.
We want to end the 2022 year with gratitude. Thank you for supporting Lana Learn and our team!
Here are some highlights of what we accomplished in 2022:
- We provided academic tutoring for Ward 7 & 8 students in partnership with DC-College Access Program (DC-CAP), one of the largest college access non-profit organizations in Washington, DC. The program served nearly 1000 students at 13 high schools in Southeast Washington, DC.
- We supported cultural and educational programs for English language learners at Cardozo Education Campus funded by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education from the U.S. Department of Education. The three-year program focuses advancing academic results for students.
- We delivered SAT professional development training for teachers for the District of Columbia Public School system (DCPS) and charter schools. We continue to expand our work in building the capacity of schools and organizations.
- We kicked off an English Training Program in Vietnam. This will provide high-quality instruction to approximately 360 Vietnamese military officers over four years in partnership with the U.S. Air Force
Therefore, it is with a deep sense of gratitude that we close out the 2022 year. We look forward to more to come in 2023.
