Lana Learn furthers its strong partnership with Thurgood Marshall Academy to make a positive impact on the community.
At Lana Learn, partnerships are crucial to our success. One of the strongest partnerships we have is with Thurgood Marshall Academy (TMA). This cooperation has been a key part of our efforts to make a positive impact on the community. Together, we are helping students succeed in their education and beyond.
Over time, we have worked together to provide the students at TMA with comprehensive SAT prep and academic tutoring. Most recently, we have been implementing high-impact tutoring (HIT) through Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) grant award. We also offer resources and support for teachers, such as professional development opportunities and access to new curriculum materials.
Through our partnership with the school, we have seen firsthand the difference that can be made when organizations and schools collaborate. By pooling our resources and expertise, we have been able to create new opportunities for students and help them to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
The benefits of this partnership extend beyond the students themselves. By working closely with school staff, we build stronger relationships with the wider community. We have gained a better understanding of the challenges that the school and its students face, and we have been able to collaborate with other organizations and individuals to address these issues and create positive change.
