Our ESL Instructor, Dung, remarks on Lana Learn’s participation in the Teacher’s Day celebration this year.
Teachers’ Day is a special celebration in Vietnam. It is a time to recognize the hard work, dedication, and impact of educators across the country. Last week, Unit 871 held a warm and meaningful event to mark this occasion, and our team at Lana Learn was honored to be invited.
A Warm Welcome from our Partners
The celebration brought together leaders, staff, and students to honour teachers and their contributions. Our foreign instructors and I were welcomed with great kindness and respect. The atmosphere was friendly and full of appreciation.
During the event, Unit 871 expressed their gratitude for the effort and support our teaching team and teaching teams of other programs have provided throughout this course. They also shared encouraging words about the progress their officers have made. This recognition means a lot to our team, as it reflects the strong partnership between Lana Learn and Unit 871.
A Thoughtful Gesture
One highlight of the celebration was the thoughtful gift given to each teacher. Although the gift was small, it carried great meaning. It showed appreciation not only for our teaching team but also for the collaboration and shared commitment between both sides.
These gestures remind us how valued teachers are in Vietnam. They also highlight the respect that Unit 871 has for education and for the people who deliver it.
A Moment of Reflection
For our foreign instructors, this was a unique cultural experience. Some of them had never attended a Vietnamese Teachers’ Day celebration before. The event helped them understand more about the values and traditions of Vietnam, especially the respect given to educators.
For me, it was also a chance to reflect on the work we do every day. Teaching and supporting learners is not always easy. But moments like this remind us that our efforts matter. They also strengthen the connection between our team and our partners.
A New Beginning for Our Learners
The Teacher’s Day celebration came at a meaningful moment. Our previous cohort finished on October 31st, and a new cohort will start this week. The event gave our team renewed motivation and energy for the months ahead.
We are grateful for the warm welcome from our partners at Unit 871. Their support helps us provide better learning experiences for our students. Teacher’s Day reminds us that education is a shared journey. It requires partnership, respect, and commitment from everyone involved.
As we begin this new cohort, we look forward to working closely with our partners at Unit 871 and with our learners. Together, we will continue to build strong foundations for success.
