High staff morale contributes to quality support for students

The Lana Learn team maintains high staff morale by taking a well-deserved holiday break to enter the new year with a positive mindset.

At Lana Learn DC, we recognize the critical importance of maintaining high staff morale. This directly influences the quality of support we provide for our students. We understand that the well-being of our hard-working team plays a crucial role in the success of our mission. To that end, we recently held a staff holiday party. It was a fun and stomach-filling occasion that brought our team together for relaxation, celebration, and camaraderie. The gathering served as an opportunity for us to unwind, connect with each other, and reflect on our collective accomplishments and challenges.

As a continued commitment to staff well-being, Lana Learn DC will be giving our employees a well-deserved holiday break. We will close at the end of the day on December 22nd and re-open the morning of January 2nd. This decision is rooted in our belief that providing our team with a break is a gesture of appreciation. Additionally, it’s a strategic investment in maintaining their overall job satisfaction and performance. The holiday shutdown aims to offer our staff the chance to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. Therefore, they will return to work rejuvenated and inspired for the challenges and successes that lie ahead in 2024.

We understand the demands and pressures that come with educational support services in an urban school district and high-need schools. The holiday break is our way of acknowledging and respecting the hard work and dedication of our team. We want them to enjoy the holiday season and enter the new year with a refreshed and positive mindset. By prioritizing staff morale through events like the holiday party and the upcoming break, Lana Learn DC remains committed to fostering a workplace culture that values and supports every team member. Thus, contributing to a more motivated and engaged workforce for our students!
