Our CEO & Founder, Tina, remarks on how we build our programs from startup to standard, ensuring sustainability and success.
Last month’s oversight visit was an excellent experience. Lana Learn received very positive feedback that the program is meeting the U.S. Government’s standards of quality and accountability. This strong progress underscores our commitment to delivering world-class outcomes. With this achievement, our responsibility is clear: to capture the practices that brought us here and ensure we sustain them over time.
As we enter this next phase of maturity, our focus is on three priorities that will allow us to continue delivering impact and value for our partners:
1. Student Success
Improving the English proficiency of Vietnamese officers remains our central mission. Student outcomes are the clearest measure of impact. We are committed to advancing proficiency in ways that directly strengthen Department of Defense objectives. Results matter, and student success will continue to guide every decision.
2. People and Standards
Program success depends on the people who implement it. While the DLIELC establishes protocol and instruction standards, our responsibility is to ensure we apply them consistently and effectively. Our staff maintains the highest level of conduct to guarantee student success. By supporting our team and reinforcing alignment with established requirements, we safeguard continuity and ensure the program can meet expectations reliably over time.
3. Systems for Continuity and Growth
Enduring impact requires reliable systems. Standard operating procedures and disciplined operations provide the structure needed for continuity, independent of individual roles. With this foundation, we can responsibly innovate, expand our reach, and better serve our partners while maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance.
Passing the oversight visit affirmed that the program is on solid ground. Our next task is to institutionalize these practices, sustain them with discipline, and continue building a program that stands as a world-class model—one that not only delivers lasting value for our partners, but also sets a standard others can follow.
