Our CEO and Founder, Tina, reflects on our year of growth and impact at Lana in 2024 – from Washington, DC, to Vietnam.
As we approach the end of 2024, it’s the time to reflect on a meaningful year for Lana Learn. This year, we’ve celebrated milestones that represent both our growth and impact, and our mission to transform education worldwide.
In Washington, DC, our programs demonstrated the tangible impact of education tailored to students’ needs. With the High Impact Tutoring (HIT) and 21st CCLC programs, we saw attendance rates grow, academic confidence soar, and test scores improve. We reached approximately 400 students with skills that will continue to impact them for years to come.
Internationally, we expanded the scope of our Vietnam English Language Training Project, introducing an active language lab with dedicated instructor to ensure lasting success. These initiatives align with the Vietnam Ministry of National Defense’s ambitious goal of increasing English proficiency across 30% of its armed forces by 2030—a mission we’re proud to support.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are focused on scaling our impact. From leveraging technology to incorporating STEM and digital SAT preparation into our programs, to forming partnerships that expand our reach, we’re excited to keep building on this year’s successes. With goals like expanding the number of students served while maintaining the same quality and care for our programs, 2025 promises to be a year of bold strides.
